Limestone Crushing Project in Hubei Province Fully Commissioned

Recently, the limestone crushing system for the upper reservoir of the Hubei Nanzhang Pumped Storage Power Station successfully completed all equipment commissioning. The entire line is operating stably and well, with all performance indicators meeting design requirements. This signifies that the system is ready for formal operation, laying a solid foundation for material supply for the subsequent construction of the power station. Located in Nanzhang County, Xiangyang City, Hubei Province, the project's core task is to provide the power station with limestone aggregates of the required specifications. It has a designed hourly production capacity of 300 tons, and the crushed finished products can precisely meet various specifications, including 0-80mm, 5-10mm, 20-40mm, 5-20mm, and 0-5mm, fully adapting to the material needs of different construction scenarios such as concrete pouring and foundation filling during the power station's construction.

Designed to handle limestone with moderate hardness and requiring a balance between output and particle shape, the system is equipped with a ZSW1360 vibrating feeder, JC110 jaw crusher, GPY200S cone crusher, PFQ1320 impact crusher, PLS1000Ⅱ vertical shaft impact crusher, and a complete set of equipment including three 3YKR3073 circular vibrating screens, two 2YKR2460 circular vibrating screens, and a ZKR1545 linear vibrating screen, thus constructing a highly efficient, stable, and environmentally friendly crushing and screening production line.
Among them, the JC110 jaw crusher adopts a new "V"-shaped crushing chamber design, increasing the crushing capacity by 15%-20% compared to traditional equipment. Its main bearing housing uses a one-piece structure, facilitating transportation and installation while significantly improving operational stability. The GPY200S cone crusher is equipped with a scientifically designed crushing chamber and an automated control system, enabling precise adjustment of the discharge port gap. It produces rounded, well-graded finished products with low energy consumption and minimal wear, saving 15%-20% more energy than traditional equipment. The PFQ1320 impact crusher uses a unique three-chamber vortex structure, effectively increasing the upper limit of the feed particle size and further improving production efficiency and finished product quality. The PLS1000Ⅱ vertical... The impact crusher, a core piece of equipment in the sand-making production line, is specifically designed for limestone sand production. Equipped with a high-speed rotating impeller, it not only boasts high crushing efficiency but also effectively reduces equipment wear and lowers maintenance costs. This equipment combines fine crushing and shaping functions, producing cubic-shaped sand and gravel with high bulk density and minimal iron contamination, perfectly meeting the high standards for particle shape and gradation required for concrete aggregates in power plant construction. Meanwhile, various vibrating screens employ a small amplitude, high frequency, and large inclination angle design, combined with composite rubber springs and vibration damping technology, achieving high screening efficiency, low operating noise, and stable vibration. Furthermore, the entire screen is connected with high-strength bolts, eliminating welding fatigue stress and significantly extending the equipment's service life. In addition, all vulnerable parts are manufactured using special wear-resistant materials such as high-manganese steel, improving wear resistance by more than 30% compared to ordinary materials, effectively reducing subsequent maintenance costs.
Upon completion and commissioning, the power station will generate significant economic, social, and ecological benefits: annual output value exceeding US$300 million and annual tax revenue exceeding US$30 million, injecting strong momentum into local economic development; saving 682,000 tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 1.7 million tons annually, contributing to the region's green and low-carbon development goals; and providing 180 jobs, driving the development of related industries, and laying a solid foundation for Nanzhang County to cultivate a new energy industry cluster and promote high-quality development.
