Hard stone refers to natural minerals or rocks with a high Mohs hardness (typically ≥6) and high compressive strength, such as granite and basalt. The process flow for crushing hard stone must be designed to address its high hardness and wear resistance. The specific process flow and equipment configuration are as follows:

 

 

Core Process Flow of Hard Stone Crushing Production Line

 

1. Coarse Crushing

 

Large stone is evenly fed into the JC jaw crusher via a vibrating feeder for coarse crushing. Equipped with high-manganese steel liners and integral cast steel bearing housings, it has a processing capacity of 50-2000 t/h.

 

2. Secondary and Fine Crushing

 

Secondary and fine crushing utilizes a GPY single-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher or an HPY multi-cylinder hydraulic cone crusher for layered crushing, achieving an output size of 8-83 mm. The over-iron protection function reduces downtime and offers high crushing ratios, high efficiency, and low energy consumption.

 

3. Screening and Return Material

 

A YKR circular vibrating screen is used to classify the material by particle size. Unqualified material is returned to the cone crusher for re-crushing, forming a closed-circuit system.

 

4. Sand Making and Shaping

 

If sand making is needed, we use the PLS vertical impact crusher, also known as a sand maker. It features a highly wear-resistant impeller and produces finished sand with a mud content of ≤3%. It offers low operating costs, strong adaptability, high throughput, high-quality finished products, and a wide range of applications.
