1. Conventional ore raw materials

 

Granite: It has a hard texture, high quartz content, good grain shape and reasonable gradation of the produced artificial sand. It is an ideal aggregate for lightweight concrete in high-rise buildings.

 

Basalt: It has dense crystals and high compressive strength. It is often used in hydropower projects and high-grade concrete, but the equipment wear is large.

3. Machine-made sand production process

 

The general configuration of machine-made sand production line includes: vibrating feeder, jaw crusher, cone crusher/impact crusher, impact sand making machine, sand washing machine, vibrating screen, conveyor belt, etc.

 

The production process of machine-made sand: the raw materials are roughly crushed by the jaw crusher, and then finely crushed by the cone crusher or impact crusher; then they are graded by the vibrating screen, and the materials that meet the particle size enter the sand making machine for shaping and fine crushing, and the oversized stones are returned for reprocessing; finally, the sand washer removes stone powder and impurities, and stone powder is added to adjust the grading when necessary. The finished sand is dehydrated and screened and then transported to the yard for storage.
