How to Configure a 1000TPH Limestone Sand Making Production Line?

Limestone, a widely distributed natural ore with moderate hardness, is an ideal raw material for manufactured sand production. The key to building a 1000-ton-per-hour limestone sand making production line is selecting the right equipment and optimizing the process, while also considering environmental protection and cost. Typically, it requires core equipment such as jaw crushers, impact crushers, impact crushers, vibrating screens, and sand washing machines, achieving high-efficiency production through intelligent processes.

1. Coarse Crushing Stage: Coarse crushing uses a JC jaw crusher, responsible for crushing large pieces of limestone (feed size ≤1300mm) to a medium size (approximately 40-300mm), providing uniform feed for subsequent medium and fine crushing. This equipment features a deep-cavity crushing chamber design, offering a large crushing ratio and strong processing capacity, making it the preferred choice for crushing various hard and highly abrasive rocks and minerals.
2. Medium and Fine Crushing Stage: Considering the low to medium hardness of limestone, a PFQ impact crusher can be used for medium and fine crushing, further refining the material particle size to 30-40mm, providing ideal feed for the sand making machine. The adjustable impact plate angle optimizes the crushing chamber design, ensuring the finished product has a cubic particle shape, meeting the requirements for high-standard construction sand.
3. Sand Making Stage: The sand making stage uses a PLS vertical impact crusher (sand making machine), the core sand making equipment. Through dual-mode switching between "stone-on-stone" and "stone-on-iron," it crushes 5-60mm materials into 0-5mm manufactured sand, achieving precise control of particle shape and fineness modulus. This equipment can adapt to materials of varying hardness.
4. Screening and Washing: The screening equipment uses a YKR circular vibrating screen, a double-layer circular vibrating screen to achieve three-stage grading (0-5mm, 5-10mm, 10-25mm). The washing process uses a DXS bucket wheel sand washer to ensure a washing efficiency of over 95% and a moisture content of less than 3%.
5. Environmental Protection and Intelligent Control: The production line is equipped with a pulse bag filter and a closed belt conveyor, with dust emission concentrations below 10mg/m³. A PLC control system enables automated operation, reducing manual intervention and improving overall efficiency.
